In Pakistan Franciscans celebrate the birth of Muhammad
On December 18, 2016, the Franciscans of Lahore, Pakistan, hosted an interfaith meeting at their formation center to commemorate both the birth of Muhammad and the birth of Christ. In the photo above, you can see the joyful Franciscans, second, fourth and fifth from the left.During the ceremony, Islamic clerics lit small candles to Muhammad while Franciscans lit large candles to Christ, second row below. Muslims sang naats (songs of praise to Muhammad) and recited excerpts of the Koran; afterwards, the Franciscans sang carols.
Next, representatives of both religions shared a common dinner. For the dessert Muslim clerics and Franciscan monks cut a cake honoring both Muhammad and Christ.
Here is a fitting application of the saying: They lit a candle to God and one to the Devil.
Who is so blind as not to see that this Vatican II Church is no longer the Holy Catholic Church?
