Over Controversial Opening
Slovakia has decided to boycott the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics, citing an offensive depiction of Christianity during the opening ceremony. Deputy Prime Minister Tomas Taraba announced the decision on social media, highlighting his disappointment with the event’s direction.
Taraba, temporarily taking over some duties from Prime Minister Robert Fico following an assassination attempt, was scheduled to attend the closing ceremony. However, the LGBTQ-themed parody of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ during the opening ceremony led to widespread Christian outrage, prompting Taraba to cancel his trip.
“I was supposed to represent Slovakia at the closing ceremony, but this Olympics will be forever written as a repulsive symbol and degenerate decadence,” Taraba stated. He criticized the opening ceremony for prioritizing progressive political statements over the celebration of sports.

Prayers for Venezuela
This morning, a lovely woman with whom I work who is from Venezuela, asked me to pray for her and her family, who is still in Venezuela. She had just heard from her family earlier who told her all is breaking loose since the coup. She asked me to pray for the protection of her family, for Venezuela, and for all affected by what is unfolding. What a blessing and honor to be asked to pray for this cause.
The mayhem has not yet hit the USA though our November election is not all that far away.
I forward this prayer request on in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Savior asking for the intercession of His Mother and ours. Ave Maria!
Please pray that the Holy Spirit guides each of us during this incredible time we share here on this earth as we find our way Home to Our Lord.
Jesus, we trust in You.

The tradition that Mary Magdalene is the sister of Martha and Lazarus is a long standing one that has been supported by the Church through her liturgy and by countless saints and Church Fathers.
In the traditional lessons of Matins, used as the reading from the Divine Office for hundreds of years before John XXIII's 1960 Rubric changes, this is made very clear. The Fourth Lesson of Matins for the feast of St. Martha, July 29 says:
"Martha was the daughter of noble and wealthy parents, but is best known as having been the hostess of the Lord Christ. After that He was ascended into heaven, Martha, along with her brother Lazarus, her sister Mary Magdalene, her waiting-woman Marcella, Maximin, who was one of the 72 disciples of the Lord Christ and who had baptized the whole of the family and many other Christians, was taken by the Jews, and turned adrift upon the open sea in a ship without sail or oars, to meet with certain wreck, but by the governance of God the ship came to land at Marseilles with all safe." The Homily of St. Augustine in the same Office of Matins also asserts that St. Martha and St. Mary Magdalene were sisters. This is once again confirmed in the traditional Roman Martyrology for July 29 that is read by the Church during the Office of Prime:
"At Tarascon, in France, St. Martha, virgin, the hostess of our Savior, and sister of blessed Mary Magdalen and St. Lazarus." Check here
It seems that your confusion is most likely a result of Progressivism and the diminishing of the emphasis of tradition and the liturgy in the modern Catechesis.

With the moral fall of much of the world on display with the Olympics' opening ceremonies greeted with scant reprisal, what are we to conclude but that the Judgment of Nations is imminent.
Our Lady of Fatima's requests have not been honored: neither the Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart, nor the disclosure of the 3rd Secret.
Instead, after six decades, we find only a Remnant of the Catholic Church practicing the Faith in its entirety. For Vatican II and the infiltration of Modernism have spread tentacles choking the good seed for two generations.
As a nation today, America has proved to be essentially effeminate as our controlling powers are rife with evil and have not been toppled.
Our country had the resources and potential to bring Light to the Nations. But we have brought Darkness.
"And when the light in you is darkness, how deep will the darkness be?"
It is Night.
It is the Judgment.
Steel your hearts!
