Is Pope Bergoglio a Psychopath?

A Reflection from a Master in Psychology

TIA,

From a psychological perspective, Pope Francis shows all the signs of being a first rate psychopath. There is mounting credible evidence that he is a divisive character who exhibits little regard for the truth. He seems to be particularly adept at dissembling, causing much confusion, and further destroying the truth in the hearts of the faithful. He also seems to be not too shy in using either his charm or his fist to achieve his purposes, to get what he wants, without sufficient regard for the consequences of his words and actions for the faithful, not to mention the rest of the world.

Being the Pope is the perfect position for a psychopath, because it is nearly impossible to get fired. If Pope Francis is one, unfortunately, it would not be the first time we have encountered this personality type in the Church in these last days. A few intelligent ones manage to slip in, undetected. Once in, they are very difficult to get rid of, unless they commit some crime like abusing children. And even then...

The highly intelligent ones know how to mask their sickness, their lack of a conscience, and blend in. They commit no obvious crimes (or at least they hide them very well). They know how to appear normal, to act virtuous, etc., their fruit, whether early or late, is always bad, always destructive.

Again, if this is true, and all the evidence seems to be increasingly pointing to it being so, it seems to give credence to St. Malachi's Prophecy of the Popes. What better precursor to the Antichrist could there be than a man who energetically and seemingly gleefully tears down the last remnants of a once great and beautiful edifice as if it were a cockroach on the bottom of his shoe? And, at the same time, he is able to convince the many that he loves the cockroach with all his heart…

More and more he seems to personify the diabolical disorientation of our time - fraught with contradiction with little or no awareness of being so - to the point where he believes his own lies.

As a lay Catholic I do not have authority to judge the Pope. However, as a professional having a Masters degree in psychology with significant experience in the mental health field, I am only connecting the dots from the information I have about him. From my observations, the shoe seems to fit. My purpose in writing is to try to contribute with something to clarify the cloud of confusion that follows Francis wherever he goes and whatever he says.

A possible punishment

Lyle Arnold's article - Alert: Beware of Papal Smut - reveals the disturbing words and evil idea Pope Francis recently used. Arnold writes: "While I would suggest a mouth-washing with soap and brillo pads, I leave it to Our Lady to see to it that Francis gets his just punishment for this scandal."

Perhaps the following apocalyptic Holy Scripture describes exactly what this punishment will be:

In Zechariah 11:16-17 (Douay-Rheims) the Prophet describes a foolish shepherd to come:

And the Lord said to me: Take to thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

A foolish shepherd: This was to represent the foolish, that is, the wicked princes and priests that should rule the people, before their utter desolation.

For behold I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who shall not visit what is forsaken, nor seek what is scattered, nor heal what is broken, nor nourish that which standeth, and he shall eat the flesh of the fat ones, and break their hoofs. O shepherd, and idol, that forsaketh the flock: the sword upon his arm and upon his right eye: his arm shall quite wither away, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
(My emphasis)

While, as a Catholic, I do not wish harm to fall on anyone, these verses from Scripture seems to fit regarding Pope Francis. Only time will tell.

Amazingly, it seems to correspond to new evidence from the Shroud of Turin about Christ's death. Here is the applicable quote from the article on the Vatican Insider website entitled: New study shows Man of the Shroud had “dislocated” arms (by Andrea Tornielli, May 7, 2014):

The first discovery the four experts made is that the Man of the Shroud underwent a dislocation of the shoulder and paralysis of the right arm. The person whose figure is imprinted on the Shroud is believed to have collapsed under the weight of the cross, or the “patibulum” as it is referred to in the study, the horizontal part of the cross.

The Man of the Shroud, the academics explain, fell “forwards” and suffered a “violent” knock” “while falling to the ground.” “Neck and shoulder muscle paralysis” were “caused by a heavy object hitting the back between the neck and shoulder and causing displacement of the head from the side opposite to the shoulder depression. In this case, the nerves of the upper brachial plexus (particularly branches C5 and C6) are violently stretched resulting in an Erb-Duchenne paralysis (as occurs in dystocia) because of loss of motor innervation to the deltoid, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, biceps, supinator, brachioradialis and rhomboid muscles.”

At this point it would have been impossible for the cross bearer to go on holding it and this brings to mind the passage in the Gospel that describes how the soldiers forced Simon of Cyrene to pick up Jesus’ cross. Not an act of compassion, therefore, but of necessity. This explains why “the right shoulder is lower than the left by 10.5 degrees” and “the right eye is retracted in the orbit” because of the paralysis of the entire arm, the academics say.
(My emphasis)

Could it be that Our Lord will punish the foolish shepherd in the same way that he suffered?

     Things to ponder...
