Archbishop Nichols initiated in Zoroastrian rituals
Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster and Catholic Primate of England and Wales, visited the Zoroastrian Centre located in London on November 15, 2011. Nichols allowed his forehead to be "blessed" and his hands washed in ritual oils; he also wore a "stole" and a cap characteristic of the partisans of that pagan religion.
Zoroastrianism is the old idolatry of the Chaldeans that adored the sun and the fire; today the number who practice it is small. In Europe its main temple is the Zoroastrian Centre in London, where Archbishop Nichols went to pay his homages.
Above, we see Archbishop Nichols in full Zoroastrian apparel, wearing a cap and stole and displaying on his forehead the red mark of the "blessing" he received. Below first row, the pictures show him being initiated in those rituals. Second row left, Nichols is the third from the left in the congregation participating in the adoration of the fire, the ceremony being executed by two priests on the center platform, at right a shot from the audience. Third row, a close-up of the priests adoring the fire and saying prayers in its honor.
Fourth row, Nichols visits the actual sanctuary of the temple, where the fire is always kept burning by Zoroastrian priests. Fifth row left, the Archbishop of Westminster delivers a message of praise of that pagan religion to the great satisfaction of its sectarians, who applaud at right.
One can see there are no abbys of evil where the representatives of the Conciliar Church do not go to present their homages and invite them to dialogue. This brings to mind the strong metaphor of the Apocalypse: "Babylon has become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every unclean spirit, and the hold of every unclean and hateful bird. Because all nations have drunk the wine of wrath of her fornication ..." (18:2-3).
