Two Francises?
Am I crazy, or do these photos look like two different persons? One is fat and puffy with a large double chin and lots of brown age marks greeting King Charles and his wife Camilla, see pix below left
How to explain such a remarkable difference from one day to the next?
If the two are the same, I would like to know his secret diet that allows you to lose so much weight in one day.
Let’s see how he looks like in the next surprise appearance...
As a side note, it is shocking that he chose to appear in public without a cassock, wearing black pants, a long sleeve undershirt covered by a striped poncho. Is this a preparation to abandon the papal garments?

From a Prisoner to TIA
Ave Maria!
Yes, the books on Our Lady of Success you gave me and my cellmate finally came. I say that because this place does a poor job with property. An inmate has to stay on top of them. By God’s goodness they came with no problems.
My cellie Joe is already enjoying them.
So I thank you very much for these gifts. You are in my prayers.
I hope your ministry will prevail. We really need it. I assume you have enemies that want you to go under. However, no weapon will prosper against you because you are on the right side.
I am always thinking how God is going to clean up this mess in the Church. He allowed it for some strange reason. If you think about it. It would have been very easy to consecrate Russia under Pius XI and XII. The bishops would have cooperated with no problem. These two popes were not infected with Modernism, however they doubted the Lady of Fatima, which to me is very strange. That mystery must belong to God.
When he learned of the Fatima story, Joe stated, “Kirby, why didn’t these two popes do it? I get it that the popes after that were creating a hippie church.” He kinda makes me laugh. He is right. The hippies took over the Church.

A Pre-Vatican II Catholic School
Ave Maria Purissima !
In the photo below you see the Daughters of Charity celebrating 100 years in William Street Dublin where they had a school and orphanage. This photograph dates from 1957. The veiled girls are all members of the Children of Mary Sodality.
We may recall the Daughters of Charity founded this Sodality in France during the 19th century to train their orphan girls in “constancy.” The girls wore long blue cloaks and long white veils. You can see the cloak in the left-hand group of girls, third row from the back.
The Child of Mary practiced as best she could the virtues of Mary, obedience, humility, purity, chastity, modesty and silence. A different age, one before the evil of feminism.

Preparing for Holy Week
Ave Maria!
Thank you at TIA for that Good Friday Chant selection. Glorious! I listened multiple times, captivated by it. Thank you also for the most beautiful meditation. What a tribute to Our King reigning from His Cross! (I shared the link with a few, hoping to spread the inspiration and prepare those friends for the week ahead, 2 of whom are Novus Ordo, who may never have heard such divine Georgian polyphonic Chant.)
I plan on reading more from Book III from the Mystical City of God this week. I was reading last night at the Agony in the Garden and could not tear myself away from it; up till 1 a.m. Must get to bed at a decent hour tonight as I have many household duties to finish this week.
Did I tell you that last year, as appreciation for all of Mr. D.D.’s help to me, I gave to him a 4 volume set of the City of God? I am so thrilled that I did so; it was truly an inspiration from God to give it to him. I also felt it would be a source of consolation to him in the carrying of his heavy cross and allow him to unite his sadness to Our Blessed Lord and Our Lady more intimately, given all the stupendous revelations dear Mary of Agreda was shown.
Each line indeed is so rich! What a treasure! It is gratifying to see him carrying the Book III with him to church and telling me of what passage or scene has especially impressed him and how he loves the writings... even sharing insights with his two youngest children! He fully appreciates the treasure that it holds.
May God abundantly bless your Holy Week!

Prof. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira addressed this topic of Tribalism or Self-Management several times.
In the historical sociological perspective he synthesized the topic in a talk for members of Tradition, Family and Property. TIA translated this talk from Portuguese and published it in our site here.
He addressed the topic ex-professo when François Mitterrand was elected President of France and tried to apply the agenda of his Socialist Party, which was the enforcement of Self-Management. On that occasion Prof. Plinio published in many countries a message called What Does Self-Managing Socialism Mean for Communism: A Barrier? Or a Bridgehead?, which you may read or print here.
When Brazilian Bishops tried to use the Indians to bring to fruition a similar agenda, Prof. Plinio published a book titled Indian Tribalism, The Communist-Missionary Ideal for Brazil in the 21st Century. You may read it here in our online Library
