Church Crisis in Numbers & Thunderforge
Mass of the Ages under Scrutiny
Note to Readers: The first article on the TIA series reviewing the Mass of the Ages has received the following comments on social media.
Re: Mass of the Ages
Re: Mass of the Ages
- When I watched this the first and only time, I noticed how "The Mass of Ages" spoke about Pope Paul VI as some kind of naive, but well intentioed imbecile who got tricked into going along with his modernist friends, and then crying crocodile tears about it years later, even though he served many years afterwards and could have done something about it, but never did! That sent a red flag to me! "The Mass of Ages" is neo-traditionalism run amuck!
D.J., Facebook - Paul VI knew exactly what he was doing, and had many years to UNDO it. Father Luigi Villa exposed what type of man he was--- his motive, etc. Unfortunately nobody listened.
P.S., Facebook - I don't get a good vibe from, "Mass of the Ages," as though the Mass and the Church are not really the focus. Hard to describe.

Putting Numbers in the Church Crisis
Hello TIA,
I read a quite comprehensive article on how Catholics are sharply decreasing everywhere under the pontificate of Pope Francis. I highly recommend that you and your audience read it. I believe that it is not only Francis' fault, as the article implies. Since John XXIII and Vatican II, the Catholic Church has been facing a crisis that with time only gets worse.
Our Lord has to intervene, if He still wants His Church to survive this attack from within.
I am forwarding the article to you.

COLLAPSE: 12 Years of the Bergoglio Age in Numbers
Paix Liturgique
February 26, 2025 - The Bergoglian Age in numbers: in ancient Christian countries, but not only, the number of Catholics is declining. Of course, there are many reasons for this, such as secularization, urbanization, competition from competing ideologies and religions, and the unravelling of family units and traditional values in many places. But the statistics point to a worrying acceleration since the start of Pope Francis' pontificate, particularly in places where bishops and indeed the Church as a whole pride themselves on their progressivism and their entry into the marvellous synodality.
Germany, spearhead of Catholic progressivism, loses 500,000 Catholics a year
A prime example is Germany, spearhead of progressivism in the Church, whose dioceses are, along with the United States, the Vatican's main source of money. In August 2024, Riposte Catholique published statistics on “church exits” in Germany, showing that while their bishops are fleeing ahead in a less and less Catholic “synodal path,” German Catholics are losing interest in their religion:
“Church departures declined compared to last year: 402,694, to be compared with the 2022 figure of 522,821 departures, but the statistical office notes that this is nevertheless the second-highest figure in the history of church departure statistics. If one adds 'deaths, entries and moves,' the number of Church members in Germany has fallen by 591,718. At national level, the statistics still count around 20.3 million Catholics at the reference date of December 31, 2023. A year earlier, the figure was still 20.94 million.

Is the U.S. Selling Out to China?
Dear TIA,
After the surprising 180-degree change in the U.S. position regarding Russia, I wonder if many know Trump seems to be allowing China to take over our military.
We all have seen Trump abandoning Ukraine, turning his back on 80-years-old allies in Europe and embracing Putin. His promise to end he war in Ukraine soon revealed itself to be nothing but a shameful capitulation to Russia. One does not have to be a genius to do that; it is enough to be a traitor.
Now, the news is that the U.S. government is allowing a Chinese AI company to partner with our military and introduce AI into the decision-making level of the military cupola.
The question is simple: Who can't see that this Chinese AI company will certainly pass our secrets on to the CCP – Chinese Communist Party? We will become vulnerable thanks to the “naïvité” of these Pentagon leaders.
I really hope I am wrong. But I am afraid that the White House is becoming the Red House and we Americans are being stabbed in the back by our “right-wing” leaders…
Please, read the attached article.

Scale AI partners with Pentagon on ‘Thunderforge’
Ryan Lovelace
San Francisco-based artificial intelligence company Scale AI says it will partner with the Pentagon on a new project to introduce AI into military planning and operations. The company tells Threat Status that it has scored a prime contract for the “Thunderforge” program via the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), with the intent of bringing AI agents into military workflows.
Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang said in a statement that the development will transform today’s military operating process. “Working together with DIU, Combatant Commands and our industry partners, we will lead the Joint Force in integrating AI into operational decision-making,” Mr. Wang said. “DIU’s enhanced speed will provide our nation’s military leaders with the greatest technological advantage.”
Scale AI and DIU refused to provide details on the cost of the contract. DIU said the Thunderforge solution will first be deployed in U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and U.S. European Command. “Thunderforge is the foundation for the next generation of AI-driven military decision-making, enhancing the Joint Force’s ability to plan, adapt and respond to emerging challenges at machine speed — helping the warfighter to deter major conflict, or win if forced to fight,” DIU Director Doug Beck said in a statement.
Asked about the cost of the contract and the award, Scale AI refused to share details and DIU did not answer how much taxpayer money would be spent. Scale AI called its contract a “significant milestone in military advancement.”
DIU said the Thunderforge solution would provide “AI-assisted planning capabilities, decision support tools, and automated workflows.” The system will first be deployed in U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and U.S. European Command.
