Banning Surrogacy & Irreversible Punishment

Italy Passes Anti-Surrogacy Law

TIA,

Here is a bit of good news from the Italian Parliament instead of the regular pro-homo reports coming from Rome, and especially the Vatican.

This week Italy passed the West’s most restrictive law against international surrogacy, threatening would-be parents who use birth mothers abroad with jail time and severe fines. Critics say the law will chiefly target same-sex ‘couples’ who try use surrogacy to have children.

The law, passed last year by the lower house and effectively ensured by the Senate vote on Wednesday, also criminalizes work by Italian citizens employed as doctors, nurses and technicians in foreign fertility clinics that facilitate surrogacy.

We should normally expect to hear Francis complimenting the law since he has said he is against surrogate motherhood. Let us see, since this law would target homos. Which emotion will win: his weak opposition to surrogacy or his strong love for homos?

Irreversible Punishment

Re: Ratzinger’s Lutheran Doctrine on the Real Presence

Why didn’t anyone expose and destroy the Luciferian doctrines of Paul VI, John Paul II, Benedict XVI then, now it's too late. The Antichrist is present and fulfilling the Counterfeit Church from within.

Every Catholic Dogma is uprooted and blasphemed. From 1958 to the present - almost 67 years - and there hasn't been a great resistance from Catholics worldwide.

Now is the time for chastisement and nobody can lead the world out of chastisement.

All Catholic prophecies must be fulfilled for the whole world deserves the punishment.

Hammer of Heretics

Dear Sir or Madam,

Further to your article "The Bad Spirit of Spontaneity & Optimism in Movies" from August 14, 2024, I would highly recommend the movie "Saint Anthony of Padua" from 1931. It is a silent film (with occasional introductory texts on screen) in black and white.

Although it takes a little bit to adjust to the imperfections of early film-making, the effort is absolutely worthwhile. The movie is fascinating and many scenes depicting Saint Anthony's miracles are extremely beautiful.

If you find anything objectionable at all, I would be most interested.

Here is the link.

Alternatively, you can find this movie on searching for 'Saint Anthony of Padua 1931 youtube'.

     Laudetur Iesus Christus,

TIA responds:

Dear U. N.,

Thank you for recommending the film on St. Anthony of Padua. Putting aside the over-dramatic acting (which is actually better than the realistic acting done today because it is more clearly a play with actors), there are indeed many worthwhile scenes in the 1931 film.

The film is free from many common Hollywood errors. The nobility are presented in a good light; the Church and her ministers are respected; the Muslim infidels are portrayed accurately showing their malice; the women are dressed modestly; and hierarchy is upheld, with a scene in which Anthony even preaches for subjects to be obedient to their rulers. There is no revolt in any of the characters, and God's power to work miracles is admirably shown. Nor is there any of the darkness and confusion that often enters the modern saint movies.

However, the actor used to play St. Anthony looks and acts rather effeminate. Some of this is due to the style of acting and make-up of the time, but other characters in the same film are not so soft as St. Anthony is portrayed. Except in a few scenes, it is difficult to see the serious, militant and virile St. Anthony who was titled the "Hammer of Heretics" for his polemical force and skill. If this were the only representation of St. Anthony that a Catholic were shown, he would misunderstand the Saint and what it means to be truly pious.

Nonetheless, so long as other stories and descriptions of St. Anthony are also read, families could benefit from this innocent silent film that upholds the Catholic Faith and shows the wonder of miracles in the life of a Saint.

We hope these considerations are helpful and we have added the film to our list of recommended movies.

     Cordially,

Extra Ecclesiam…

Dear TIA,

Re: Ratzinger’s Anti-Scholastic Legacy

I understand the progressivists sneered at the Thomists, accusing them of sterile and pointless theological debates typified by the alleged dispute as to how many Angels could dance on the head of a pin.

It occurs to me that there is a modernist equivalent of just such a pointless, yet in contemporary terms, a very destructive and pervasive theological ‘debate’.

It is comprised in the tortuous search, commenced at Vatican II, for a so-called ‘nuanced‘ basis to speculate how the plain and simple meaning of the doctrine Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus coupled with the unequivocal words of Our Lord, can be sidestepped and rendered effectively redundant by reference to purported ‘exceptions’ of supposedly divine origin and intent.

It’s a sort of Catholic theologically impertinent ‘dirty talk’ in my view.

Yours in Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Whitmer Blasphemes the Holy Eucharist

Dear TIA,

In case there is any doubt as to the demonic nature of the Democratic Party, this video is very revealing. Gretchen Whitmer, the governor of Michigan, feeds a chip to a kneeling young woman. The woman, in turn, appears to be in "ecstasy."

This is clearly a satanic parody of Holy Communion, with Whitmer fulfilling the role of priestess. No further commentary is needed, for this unspeakable blasphemy speaks for itself.

     In Maria,

     S.J.
