It reminds me the warning of St. Anthony of the Desert, the first hermit in the desert of the Thebaid, telling us that a time will arrive when the mad will be so common that they will call the sane mad. We are at this time FOR SURE!

Fratelli Tutti Out of Context
As the author of St. Francis of Assisi and the Conversion of the Muslims, I would be remiss if I remained silent, if by such silence it should seem that I consent to what is alleged in the papal encyclical Fratelli Tutti.
St. Francis of Assisi did not preach a passive Christianity that must show a humble subjection to those of other faiths. This idea of subjection is taken completely out of context from the Franciscan Rule of 1221, which is the source cited by the encyclical.
However, the encyclical does properly underscore the fact that St. Francis did not want his friars to directly criticize or oppose the tenets of the Muslim religion.

Communism & Corruption in California’s Paradise
I become indignant seeing how the California government uses any pretext to advance the Antifa/BLM agenda, even at the expense of damaging the prestige of Gavin Newsom. His bad administration is notorious. Instead of seeing to the citizens' needs, he deprives them of elementary things the State needs in order to funnel money to the communist activists.
But the main point here is that California never had slavery, and now he makes a law to pay reparations to the slaves...

October 8, 2020 - California's state legislature just passed, and Gov. Gavin Newsom signed, Assembly Bill 3121 to explore providing reparations to California's African American population -- 155 years after the abolition of slavery.
Apparently, when California's one-party government cannot find solutions to current existential crises, it turns to divisive issues that have little to do with the safety and well-being of its 40 million citizens.
California has the highest gas taxes in the nation, even as its ossified state highways remain clogged and dangerous. Why, then, does Sacramento keep pouring billions of dollars into the now-calcified high-speed rail project?
When fires raged, killed dozens, polluted the air for months, consumed thousands of structures and scorched 4 million acres of forest, in response the governor thundered about global warming. But Newsom was mostly mute about state and federal green polices that discouraged the removal of millions of dead and drought-stricken trees, which provided the kindling for the infernos.
When gasoline, sales and income taxes rose, and yet state schools became even worse, infrastructure remained decrepit and deficits grew, California demanded that federal COVID-19 money bail out its own financial mismanagement.
In a time of pandemic, mass quarantine, self-induced recession, riot, arson and looting, the California way is to borrow money to spend on something that will not address why residents can't find a job, can't rely on their power grid, can't drive safely, can't breathe the air, can't ensure a high-quality education for their children, and can't walk the streets of the state's major cities without fear of being assaulted or stepping in excrement.

I want to thank you so much for the magnificent Hymns and Songs page. My family has been listening to hymns along with the liturgical calendar over the last year or so, and it has truly enriched our lives.
This year we have begun to share some hymns and traditions with our local Catholic home-school group - for example, we are teaching The Soul Cake song to a group of families that will perform it tor a larger group of families near All Soul's Day.
So many of us feel like we're having to dig and dig to rediscover the buried treasure of Catholic culture that has been lost and forgotten, attempting to restore it for our own families. Your website brings such beauty, and aids our efforts significantly, especially given the fact that we ourselves were not raised with this forgotten culture!
May it be no longer forgotten.
