St Thomas on Mohammed
Below is what St. Thomas says about Mohammed and the Muslims. It is good to know that he studied Islamism in depth to write his Summa Contra Gentiles.

"He (Mohammed) seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh urges us. His teaching also contained precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure. In all this, as is not unexpected; he was obeyed by carnal men. As for proofs of the truth of his doctrine, he brought forward only such as could be grasped by the natural ability of anyone with a very modest wisdom. Indeed, the truths that he taught he mingled with many fables and with doctrines of the greatest falsity.
"He did not bring forth any signs produced in a supernatural way, which alone fittingly gives witness to divine inspiration; for a visible action that can be only divine reveals an invisibly inspired teacher of truth. On the Contrary, Mohammed said that he was sent in the power of his arms - which are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants. What is more, no wise men, men trained in things divine and human, believed in him from the beginning (1).
"Those who believed in him were brutal men and desert wanderers, utterly ignorant of all divine teaching, through whose numbers Mohammed forced others to become his follower's by the violence of his arms. Nor do divine pronouncements on part of preceding prophets offer him any witness. On the contrary, he perverts almost all the testimony of the Old and the New Testaments by making them into a fabrication of his own, as can be seen by anyone who examines his law. It was, therefore, a shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity. It is thus clear that those who place faith in his words believe foolishly."

A Mad Vatican on Terrorism
Clearly you traditionalists don't understand how to deal with Muslims. You should follow the advice of the Vatican paper and try to understand the jihadists’ strategy, as a Muslim journalist advises.
In a front-page column that appeared July 18 in L’Osservatore Romano following the terrorist attack in Nice, Zouhir Louassini said that “terrorism will not be stopped with headlines of seven columns that insult and offend an entire religion,” for "such headlines play into the jihadists’ hands."
So then, I guess we need to show more tenderness and kindness to the terrorists so we don't enrage them and feed their anger.
Is the Vatican entirely mad? Certainly the old crusading spirit of the Popes has gone and died, to be replaced with sentimental tripe that will only lead to a more vulnerable populace and more Islamist attacks by emboldened terrorists.

She is also proudly leading UNESCO’s efforts, in open partnership with the Obama administration, to standardize and control indoctrination around the world under the guise of “education.” “UNESCO was founded to promote the principles of humanism,” boasted Bokova, adding that this was still the mission.
A year ago, after a UN global “education” summit in Korea, Bokova also boasted of her efforts to indoctrinate children around the world. “We have the collective duty to empower every child and youth with the right foundations – knowledge, values and skills – to shape the future as responsible global citizens,” she said. Her admitted globalist, humanist, “progressive” values are, of course, fundamentally incompatible with traditional American liberties and Christian values.

Russia delivered the missile portion of an advanced S-300 surface-to-air defense system to Iran. Russia plans to finish the delivery of the whole system to Tehran by the end of this year, Tasnim news agency reported.
