Theology of Freedom & Women-Bishops

Dear TIA,

We should have expected this treachery. Now that the masses have been mesmerized by the idea of 'religious freedom' for all, it would seem the perfect time for a 'theology of freedom' (better known to Traditional Counter Revolutionaries as 'liberation theology')

Googling "theology of freedom" brings you to libertarianism, Martin Luther and Karl Barth (a theologian I read about, hailed by Pius XII). Whereas the wikipedia definition of Liberation Theology is more damaging as it includes the many criticisms of it and actions taken against it by John Paul II and Cardinal Ratzinger over the years.

Not calling a spade a spade in this instance will lead many to think this must be good and they will automatically support it.

Some have noticed similarities with the thinking of Karl Rahner in Müller’s theological work (Lehmann had worked with Rahner). In the months when the Pope was considering Müller‘s candidacy, the latter‘s link with one of the fathers of the Theology of Freedom, Fr. Gustavo Gutierrez, whose texts were closely examined by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (which at the time was headed by Cardinal Ratzinger) with no sentence or sanction being imposed. The new Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith experienced Church life first hand by going to Latin America and spending some time living with the farmers in a parish near Lake Titicaca, on the border with Bolivia.

Checking the Anglican meeting that is deciding now to approve women-bishops, I found this photo and comment from two years ago on the Bishop Kevin Boland of Valdosta, Georgia, who was attending an installation presided over by a woman-bishop right here in the U.S.

Bishop Boland participated in the installation of Scott Benhase as bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia, [presided over by female bishop Katherine Schorl]. This appalling decision illustrates once more that Bishop Boland is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Like the Catholic bishops of 16th century England, he betrays the faith in favor of "ecumenical dialogue" with material heretics who choose secular relativism over biblical truth. The resources used for this information are unreliable, which is the reason why I hesitate to send it on. I would like, if possible, for you to send this information to L.M.G. who recently requested additional information about the Third Secret on your site.

On June 17, 2011 the Franciscan Capuchins group posted a claim that they are the "protectors" of the other copy of Sister Lucy's Third Secret. Their photo can be found here. The picture shows one of persons showing a hidden hand sign revealing that they are Masonic.

If this is true, then it provides more evidence for Atila Guimaraes' theory that the secret was tampered with. It has always been hard for me to believe such a well written documented letter could have such glaring errors, indicated to me the strong possibility that those errors were made on purpose.

Dear TIA,

I am not sure if you are familiar with the story regarding the bus monitor who was bullied by students in Rochester, NY.

What I find rather curious is the media handling of the event, as well as the Facebook response to the incident. While there is an outrage, and even an outrage due to the fact that the bus monitor is elderly, there hasn't been discussion regarding the incident as a violation against an adult's authority. People have treated this in a rather egalitarian way, treating the bus monitor, Karen Klein, as if she were another child who was bullied. There has been an outpouring of emotional, sentimental support, but nothing really of support for her authority that was violated

The real outrage to me is the fact that the children, by treating Ms. Klein in this way, showed their contempt for her authority. This is a dangerous situation. It the children don't have respect for the people put in place to ensure their safety and well-being, then no child is safe. The bus driver and Ms. Klein needed to be able to restore order, to reassert the natural hierarchy of adults over children, and to ensure the other children's safety.

I find this approach rather wrong-headed, and suspect that it may have to do with the media's political motives of focusing on bullying as a new social problem.
