Dear TIA,

Thank you for your article "Virginity is Higher than Marriage" containing the passage from St. John Crysostom. It offers even further support of the point Our Lord made after He described to the Apostles the permanence of marriage:

"His disciples say unto him: If the case of a man with his wife be so, it is not expedient to marry. Who said to them: All men take not this word, but they to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, who were made so by men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven. He that can take, let him take it." (Matt 19:12)

I also listened to the Lamentations of Jeremiah that you have on your site. I was blessed this Lent to assist at traditional Holy Week Tenebrae services where the Lamentations were chanted. What a profound Lenten treasure they are, particularly during this time as Catholics mourn the ongoing destruction of the Church. I do not think I will soon forget the mournful lament "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, convertere ad Dominum Deum tuum."

I would like to thank Dr. P.D. for his kind words about my review of The Gauntlet, and also for his excellent criticism of my phrase about the evils inherent in unrestricted Capitalism:

"The inherent evil in the author's phrase is the "unrestricted" designation, not the "Capitalism" one. Anything 'unrestricted' is evil, as we are always and everywhere bound by natural and divine law."

I did indeed use the phrase unwittingly, and the Doctor's correction was excellently and courteously stated. For this I thank him.

The Spider is a very good article. Mr. Lyle has several good points which should wake anyone up about the bad Church authorities and how they have actively worked towards dismantling the Catholic Church due to their own self deception and liberalism.
