Christian Brother’s ‘new evangelization’
Above you see Brother Martin Sellner, FSC, 83 years of age, dancing to the rhythm of Go Daddy, Go (be aware of sensual/immoral scenes). He is a teacher of Chemistry for the Christian Brothers in the Philippines.Sellner imagines that by performing a sensual dance like this, he "spreads some joy in the hearts of others," as he told the The Philippine Star.
He is buying into the sophism of the “new evangelization” of John Paul II, who founded the World Youth Days.
The preaching of the Catholic Church should be on the Cross of Christ, not the pleasures of the world, especially not the pleasures that induce one to sin, like the dance Br. Sellner chose to perform.
We hope that he will change his frivolous position because it is already time for him to be thinking about how he will present himself before God when he dies.
