Koch: Jews do not need to believe in Christ to be saved

At a three day seminar promoted by the Jewish-led Council of Centers of Jewish-Christian Relations that took place at Seton Hall University in late October - early November 2011, Cardinal Kurt Koch, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, gave a two-hour talk. In it, among other things, he stressed these two points:

1. Jews are participants in God’s salvation even though they do not believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah of Israel and Son of God;

2. The Catholic Church rejects missionary work directed at Jews.

It is another bold denial of the Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ made by an official representative of the Pope. In other words, it is another confirmation of the general apostasy of the post-conciliar Vatican with its policy of ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue.
