Modern Pathology Affects Youth & Children
In today’s cybernetic intercommunicated world, people are living a crisis that is increasingly under study and raising concerns in the arena of public health. If it is not stopped, a catastrophe of enormous proportions may occur.
Considering research already done, mainly in the U.S., on the deleterious effects of the so-called flash-apps on the minds of youth and children, I will address the challenges regarding the education of children and the conceptual confusions devastating the minds of the youth.
During the “pandemia” in which the great majority of people who live in cities with
no contact with rural areas were locked inside their houses to “avoid contagion,” dependent on the Internet for work, school, entertainment and other communication with the external world. The world wide web imposed itself as a necessity for survival.
Hence, many children would remain in front of their screens for the entire day, studying, playing or communicating with friends. Only when they retired for sleep did they turn of the computers/cell phones.
After the “pandemia,” parents, teachers, physicians and employers were forced to face the harmful effects in the behavior of their children, students, clients or employees.
In the schools the capacity to read a text of more than three or four phrases disappeared.
The attention span of children was reduced to one or two minutes, the time used by TikTok and other apps to make their reports on diverse matters. It became practically impossible for children to distinguish the meaning of words, especially homographs – that is, words with analogous spellings but different meanings. Facing this problem many children would simply freeze, as if their brains were under the effect of a momentary dementia or amnesia. This is an alarming pathology.
Many frightened parents began to ask the help of psychologists and psychiatrists, who, in turn, solicited the assistance of scientists and pharmaceuticals; so far, however, there is no drug with the efficacy to heal this pathology.
Some health professionals are imposing total abstinence from the use of cellular until age 17 or 18 for girls, and age 26 or 27 for young men. This latter number reflects the reality that today many youth – especially males – are leaving adolescence only after 30 years of age.
Another dangerous consequence of the high screen time is an increase of aggressiveness of youth toward their parents, siblings and friends. There have already been cases of children murdering parents who forbade them access to the Internet.
Others fall into a deep depression and some even run the risk of starving themselves to death due to the continuous use of the Internet. This is not to mention those who become addicted to pornography and other morbid matters common on the Internet.
And if all this were not enough, there is still another severe effect called Lycanthropy, in which the person persuades himself that he is an animal. That is, to use modern jargon, the person begins to “identify” as a wolf, and so he starts to howl, walk on four feet and look for forests to roam about in.
Such a pathology has existed for centuries but, until now, it counted only an insignificant number of victims. Today, however, it has exploded with a vertiginous number of “furries” or “otherkin” who think they are any variety of animals because of their uninterrupted use of Internet where they follow fantastic stories of “influencers” who live in this non-reality.
This pathological-cybernetic virus has yet another dramatic consequence: An ever-increasing number of children affirm that they cannot believe in God. It is a global phenomenon with greater occurrence in countries with advanced technological development.
For these new atheists, the universe is composed of living or unanimated beings that appeared on earth without any logical explanation, not even as the work of some Intelligent Being who ordered them and presided over them.
The law of cause-effect, which states that every single effect in our world has a cause, is taken for granted as a truth by us. But it does not mean anything to these new human beings. They gratuitously deny any truth without the need to present any argument to justify their position.
When a victim is affected by this pathology, he simply declares that he cannot believe in anything. For him there is no sin or virtue; no life after death; no salvation or condemnation. Life for him does not have any purpose.
Speaking with a group of my students – ages 13 and 14 – all without exception affirmed they do not believe in God. For them what the Bible teaches us is nothing but an invented narrative inserted in History, but it has never existed.
It is the “victory” of Nietzche who declared, “God is dead.” With this new pathology, our newest generation reaches the final goal of the Revolution, prophesied by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira in his book Revolution and Counter-Revolution, which is incidentally the final goal of the Devil: to have mankind proclaim that God has never existed.

Adiction to computers & cell phones is harming children’s minds

Children & teens are increasingly ‘identifying’ with wolves, other animals or imaginary beings
Such a pathology has existed for centuries but, until now, it counted only an insignificant number of victims. Depression leads to skepticism & atheism
